Ground support equipment (GSE) is usually found in around the airport either near the parking area or the service terminals. This equipment tends to be very specialised, having an important role in the running of aircraft or general storage. Our covers have been specially adapted for many different types of ground support equipment.

When oxygen service carts are used in the aviation industry many require a cover to protect against harsh weather. Our covers have been specially CAD designed to ensure an all over weather cover protects technical control instruments. These can be altered depending on your design of service cart, maybe it’s a two bottle cart or four bottle cart, maybe it has more controls than normal; no problem for Cunningham we will design you a clever protective cover for your aviation needs.

Our tyre bay covers are a technically sound solution to protecting tyres against UV and water all day long. Our covers are utilised by your tyre bay unit making it even more useful. A tyre can be removed in the same amount of time it normally takes when there is no cover in place due to our engineers designing a quick release solution. On a five tyre bay unit our system allows you to remove one tyre at a time without removing the entire cover. Each tyre is removed and the section where the tyre is removed can be resealed to continue protection of the entire unit.

We also manufacturer a rollable protection system for aerospace service carts. The carts can be used to store and transfer tools and equipment. Our system allows for instant access to the tools without the danger of getting them damaged from prolong exposure to the elements and UV. The side panels can be branded with the airlines livery by our in house print department. We will send you a proof of artwork before we start any works. The side panels can be modified to allow for small vision panels and quick tool access points for emergency repairs.

Our protective covers are also adapted to be used inside the aircraft for thermal control. Our specialised insulated material is a ideal solution for aircraft cargo containers also known as unit load devices. Our materials can be flame retardant, insulated and even oil resistant.
