Silt curtains also known as turbidity curtains are used to control this and create a barrier to stop the spread of this contamination. When construction is taking place in or around waters it is imperative that steps are put in place to prevent any spread of turbidity due to legislation.

Harsh environmental conditions were causing equipment on the Ascension Island to rust and corrode. This led to delays in productivity as costly refurbishment works had to be carried out on a monthly basis. Our challenge was to identify and implement a cost effective solution that would prevent corrosion, minimise downtime and protect this high value equipment from destruction and a reduced lifespan. The protective covering also had to be easy to fit and durable to stand the test of time.
