Impact protection in the defence industry can be used in many different ways, everything from vehicles to weaponry and even ammunition requires some type of impact protection. All of these different elements require different levels of protection, some more than others and that’s where our technical team will talk you through different options available for you and your equipment.

A Cunningham impact protection cover will have a calculated amount of special foam to absorb any bumps and knocks it may receive in hostile environments. This special foam can be placed right around the cover or most commonly welded inside the PVC at certain vulnerable areas of the equipment it is protecting, concentrating our effort on the areas that need protecting the most.

Unlike other impact protection covers ours won’t soak up any unwanted water. Utilising clever design we don’t enable retention of water rather we come up with ways of creating “water run off” and enabling our covers to protect the foam areas to stop any water being absorbed.

Once we have your design approved and made we can manufacture multiples of these time and time again, they will always be exactly as you have ordered. We have been accredited with ISO9001 for many years now and were first in our field to receive the revised addition in 2015. Adhering to these standards we follow specific procedures for all jobs which in turn assures you get the correct product every time.
