When transporting sections of an aircraft there can be no room for error; planning has to be meticulous to ensure when all parts arrive to their destination that they are in the same condition they were in when they left the factory.

Engines, wings and fuselages all have to be transported at some stage for assembly and some parts may have to travel thousands of miles before they arrive safely so they can’t just go on a flat bed trailer and hope that nothing will damage it. Our covers can be shaped to fit the wings, with added impact protection around vulnerable areas. These complex shapes are the norm for us as we are used to creating complex covers to suit abnormal shapes. The covers are made using robust materials so can be reused time and time again so your investment can be used to its full potential. The wing covers come with fixing points to allow secure fitting to wing without damage. We make the cover so that it is tightly fitted to ensure cover is not blown away during transport but can be transported without damaging the wing surface. We can add extra padding to these fixing points to ensure no scratches to paintwork.

Due to the nature of product they we are protecting it is quite common for customers to require a location and tracking at all times. We can add a RFID tag to the cover to ensure customer knows where the cover is at all times (RFID stands for radio frequency identification devices.) These can be welded inside the cover to ensure protection of the unit. The information that can be gathered by these devices is limitless as customers can even tell if the product gets abnormally knocked during transport and if so at what location.
