Rollover Tarpaulins

Bulk transport is the one of the most demanding of industries, making loading and unloading trucks is time critical. The Cunningham rollover tarpaulin is one of the industry’s most favoured solutions. When you are top loading a Cunningham rollover, it can be easily pulled back and fitted back on in a matter of seconds. We’ve been manufacturing our rollovers since 1969 so we know what we’re doing. Our rollover cover is easily retrofitted to any articulated or tipper lorry on the market.

Cunningham Covers tipper sheeting solutions provide the lorry operator with a manual or semi-automatic option. All our flat sheets and rollover covers for the asphalt industry are custom-made to suit individual lorry tipper; fixed to the side with bars either on the side only or side and top. All chimes are reinforced and each cover is supplied with ratchets and side straps to hold it in place. Cunningham can also finish the manual rollover cover with eyelets/elastic in a heavy duty PVC material. 

At one end our rollover cover has an aluminium bar fitted inside a PVC sleeve which acts as the rollover. At one side the cover is securely fitted via rivets to the trailer which isn’t removed. From there we can either use a centre pole or not depending on size of trailer. The bar at one end is used to bring the PVC cover forward and back when top loading is taking place. This can be done very quickly due to the systems design. The driver can easily pull the cord that is attached to the cover and this brings the rollover back across the top body of the lorry. The cover is then ratcheted down to the side of the lorry for secure fitting and ready to drive to the next location.

Optional automatic rollover systems can be implemented too at a touch of a button. This system gives you everything that the manual system does with durability and ease of use but results in less labour intensive rollout. The driver can roll the cover across with a button and our mechanism does the hard work. These systems can also be retrofitted onto most articulated trailers.
