Valve Anti Corrosion Protection · Oil & Gas
Harsh environmental conditions were causing equipment on the Ascension Island to rust and corrode. This led to delays in productivity as costly refurbishment works had to be carried out on a monthly basis. Our challenge was to identify and implement a cost effective solution that would prevent corrosion, minimise downtime and protect this high value equipment from destruction and a reduced lifespan. The protective covering also had to be easy to fit and durable to stand the test of time.

Bespoke Flame Retardant Tarps, Blankets and Anti-Static Covers · Oil & Gas
The safety of employees deployed to offshore oil rigs is of paramount importance. Any equipment on the rigs or that is being transported to them also needs due consideration. High value and specialised equipment needs to be protected in transit and during deployment from risks such as sparks from welding which can cause explosions. Cunningham covers was tasked with designing bespoke protective covers to address this very issue.

Bespoke Logistic Covers · Transport
Our client manufactures pre-fabricated switch rooms on-site and transports them to various locations to be deployed. Many companies need to transport large and heavy items of machinery across long distances. This is often done by loading the equipment onto a flatbed lorry, which cuts fuels costs during transportation as a result of the reduced aerodynamic drag of these vehicles. It also offers greater protection on the load from the impact of dirt or stones from the road.

Conveyor Covers · Industrial
Mining plants, aggregate and mineral processing plants, recycling plants and other material handling plants utilise crushing equipment to reduce the size of the raw materials. Some crushing machines have fabricated panels instead of PVC ones but our clients prefer using PVC which helps cut down the amount of dust being circulated and prevents the raw material being contaminated by other materials on-site whilst operational.
-
Dust Protection and Segregation Curtains · Industrial
Our client had to set up their battery plant quickly and the factory was still in use, whilst construction work was still ongoing. We were commissioned to manufacture and install clear PVC partitions to segregate part of the factory off to allow production to continue alongside completion on the construction work. These temporary factory partition wall dividers kept dust and dirt out so production could continue. The wall dividers could also be moved to alternate locations as the construction work progressed.

TP Covers - Wind Turbine Protective Cover Solutions · Renewables
Wind turbines like all equipment need to be maintained to keep them functioning effectively, maintenance workers are often subjected to the elements while testing and maintaining the turbines due to their height and the fact that they are often located in wide open spaces on hilltops, close to the sea or indeed offshore in bodies of water, wind turbine Wind farms can offer the most dangerous and exposed weather conditions resulting in an extremely challenging and high risk working environment.

Vehicle Plant and Equipment Covers · Defence
Dust and dirt are problematic when it comes to machinery. It gets inside components and can negatively impact on performance, causing excessive downtime. Erosion is also a cause for concern, All vehicles need to be protected from being exposed to excessive amounts of dust and dirt and this is particularly true for military vehicles which often operate on rough terrain and harsh environments.

Helicopter Covers · Aviation
The most dangerous place for a helicopter is on the ground. Damage can occur due to the humidity, freezing temperatures or UV damage from the sun’s rays. The body of the aircraft can be eroded by dust particles, sand particles, or even sea salt depending on its location whilst not in use.
